Overview

Many companies have discovered that the best way to assure a consistently successful record of hires is to build a solid, ongoing relationship with the College of Engineering and its student body. Companies are encouraged to participate in career fairs, company days, pre-interview sessions, and other events on campus. If you are planning to host a campus event, please notify the ECRC staff for assistance. For recruiting event guidelines, please see pages 16-17 in our recruiting guide.

Employer Presentations/Panels

Co-sponsored by the ECRC and various College of Engineering departments, these events give organizations an opportunity to network with students, develop a strong presence on campus and conduct recruiting on an informal basis.

Company Days

During this one-day event, company representatives set up a display at a prominent North Campus location and/or make presentations to student groups.

Engineering Career Fairs

Pre-interview/Information Session

Student organizations such as the Society of Women Engineers, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Girls in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Michigan Engineering Consulting Club can arrange pre-interview sessions for you.
